Business Development Manager, Private Debt and Real Assets
Alexandra Solnik is responsible for business development within BNP Paribas Asset Management’s Private Debt & Real Assets investment group, as well as acting as investment specialist for the group’s underlying asset classes.
She was appointed to this role in July 2017. Her financial sector experience covers banking, capital markets and asset management, and includes a number of years in Asia. Prior to her current role she was Executive Director for BNPP AM Najmah in Malaysia, before which she was responsible for Asian sales of BNPP AM’s index, capital protected and model-driven solutions, based in Hong Kong. She began her career in 2001 as a structurer in credit derivatives & trading within corporate & investment banking, initially at BNP Paribas Securities in Tokyo and then with CDC IXIS (subsequently Natixis Capital Markets) in France. She joined Fortis Investments in 2005, three years prior to its acquisition by BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Alexandra holds a Master of Science in Management, majoring in Finance, from HEC Business School in Paris, France.
