James is responsible for performance, growth and development of global aggregate and global sovereign bond portfolios that are benchmark managed and total and absolute return strategies. James joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in November 2021 and is based in London. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Rates and managed the AIMS Fixed Income and Target Return funds for Aviva Investors. Earlier, James worked at Henderson Global Investors as Head of Rates.

He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bristol and is a CFA charterholder.
