Yanning Ma is head of investments and financial engineering at BNP Paribas Épargne & Retraite Entreprises (BNP Paribas R&E). He is responsible for conception and structuring of long term investment solutions for French corporates’ employee saving plans.
Before joining BNP Paribas E&RE, Yanning was a multi-assets fund manager in BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) where he was responsible for managing flexible multi-factor funds and contributing to the development of absolute return strategies.
Prior to joining the multi-assets team, Yanning was an alternative fund manager and a founding member of BNPP AM’s Commodities team where he contributed to the development of BNPP AM’s active managed commodity funds range.
He joined BNPP AM in 2009 as a guaranteed structured products investment specialist.
Yanning holds a 1st class Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and Capital Markets of Banking and Finance from Caen University.
Yanning has also been actively involved in various extra-professional projects such as Banc d’écolier, a charity association founded by BNP Paribas’ employees, which is dedicated to providing education for orphans in the Yunnan province in China.
