Head of sector rotation, BNP Paribas Asset Management
Dan is the head of the sector rotation alpha team at BNP Paribas Asset Management. He is responsible for leading the generation of sector allocation alpha ideas for FFTW’s various investment strategies. Dan originally joined the group in 2006, spent nine months at another asset manager and recently returned to our firm in September 2015. He is based in New York.
Prior to his current role, Dan was senior portfolio manager for BNP Paribas Asset Management’s sector rotation team. Prior to joining us, he was a Portfolio Manager at Aflac Global Investments. Dan worked at our firm from 2010 to 2014, first as Assistant Portfolio Manager for US credit, and then as an Investment Grade Credit Portfolio Manager. Dan began his career at Fortis Investments, a predecessor of BNP Paribas Asset Management, with a 3-year graduate rotation program.
Dan has 11 years of investment experience. He earned a BS in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University and an MSc from the ICMA Centre University of Reading in International Finance and Investment Banking.
