Gilberto Kfouri Junior has a degree in engineering from Escola Politecnica, University of Sao Paulo and a Master’s in finance from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. He has worked in the asset management industry for 27 years.
He joined CCF in Brazil in 1991 where he was responsible for fixed income for ten years. He was also CEO of CCF Brazil pension fund, one of the biggest multi sponsored pension funds in the local economy.
He joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in 2001 as chief investment officer of the Brazilian subsidiary and helping to increase the assets under management from R$ 1 billion to R$ 30 billion in 10 years.
In 2011 he joined Schroders Investments in Brazil being responsible for the management of “multimercados” as well as balanced funds. After 2 years Gilberto joined BNP Paribas again being responsible for Fixed Income and “multimercados” funds and mandates.
