Pauline joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in October 2017 as Senior Fund Manager. She has over 18 years of experience in project and structured finance with a dual sector expertise in energy and telecom.
Prior to her current role, Pauline was a Managing Director with Crédit Agricole CIB’s Telecom, Media and Technology unit, where she took, among other responsibilities, the lead to develop the telecom infrastructure franchise. Her origination responsibilities covered a wide sectorial expertise within the TMT space: telecom operators (fixed, mobile, broadband), cable and fiber optics networks operators, telecom towers, cloud and webhosting companies, data centers operators and satellites operators in Europe. She worked on a diversified range of financings from about EUR 100 million to several billion euros on the loan or debt capital markets. Pauline also acted as a senior coverage officer for a portfolio of TMT clients, in particular several infrastructure fund-owned telecom companies.
Prior to that, Pauline was a Director in CA’s Power, Renewables and Utilities team. She has a 10-year experience in originating and structuring transactions in EMEA in the power and utilities sector. In particular, she was in charge for the team of the coverage and origination of renewable energy projects (thermo-solar, photovoltaic, wind ‐ onshore and offshore). More generally, responsibilities as director included marketing and origination as well as leading transactions from inception to financial close as deal team leader, as an arranger or advisor. In particular she led debt advisory mandates for over 2 000 MW in solar, wind, and conventional energy and closed financings for 8 000 MW.
Pauline started her career in project finance in 1999 with CA Indosuez in New York where she spent 5 years in structuring, analysing and monitoring a variety of project finance transactions in the North and Latin American markets, with a strong emphasis on the energy sector, including contracted and merchant power, renewable energies and oil & gas. She was involved in the closing of nine transactions for a total commitment of about USD 500 million, in the portfolio management of 17 loans, and was also involved in the execution of the restructuring of a number of distressed transactions in the energy sector.
Pauline is a graduate from French engineering school Ponts Paristech.
