Head of Money Markets, BNP Paribas Asset Management
Rena Walsh is the head of BNP Paribas Asset Management ’s US Dollar Money Market team and senior portfolio manager for the firm’s money market strategies. She is responsible for the performance and management of US dollar money market portfolios, growth and development of the US money market business, and promoting offshore US dollar money market capabilities. Rena joined the company in 2011 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas Asset Management, Rena worked for State Street Global Advisors, where she was a vice president within the Global Cash and Intermediary Business Unit for 12 years focused on managing and expanding the registered money market product line, and Vice President, Unit Head of Cash for 4 years, managing short-term funds and a team of cash portfolio managers. Before that, she was a vice president and senior portfolio manager at PNC Investment Management (now BlackRock) managing money market and fixed income funds. Rena started her career at Calvert Group holding multiple roles during her tenure.
Rena has over 34 years of investment experience. She holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Virginia.
